You’ve poured your heart and soul into creating a course, product, or service that you’re absolutely certain is going to be a game-changer. 🙌
You know that the value you’re providing far exceeds the price tag you’ve put on it.
You might even have a list of people you’ve been regularly emailing who you know will benefit from your offer.
You’re excited. You’re eager. You’re ready to watch the sales flood in followed by tons of testimonials from happy customers.
You launch. 🎉
…
Nothing.
No beautiful “ding” of sales notifications flowing in. No happy customers sharing how your offer changed their lives.
Hell, you haven’t even gotten a single visit to your sales page from that email list you’ve been cultivating for months.
Why?
3 Reasons Your Last Launch Flopped
1. Your offer isn't clear. 🔎
It’s clear to YOU, of course. After all, you’re the one who created it. But your audience knows nothing about it. You need to do more than just say “buy this, it’s great!”
How to fix it: Meet your audience where they are — at zero. They need the nitty-gritty details that you already have memorized.
2. It takes too much energy to accept your offer. 😮💨
Even your most perfect, “this is exactly what I’ve been looking for my entire life” clients aren’t going to spend more than a second or two finding a way to give you their money.
How to fix it: Make it easy. Make your call to action big and bold. That “buy now” or “book a call” button should shine like a beacon of joy and promise from the page.
3. You haven't actually validated your offer. 🎯
If your launches are being met with silence, you might not be solving the right problem for the audience you’re trying to reach.
How to fix it: Do your research BEFORE you put all the energy into creating your offer.
If it’s already too late for that, see if you can find the target audience who would benefit from your offer. It might mean more work (like a need for lead generation when you might not have needed that before).
The other two options are scrapping the offer altogether or, if it’s salvageable based on your research, reworking it to match your current audience.
Of course, there’s one more reason your launches may be falling flat… You’re trying to write your own copy.
Here’s the truth of it all:
Even if you’re a good writer, you need a copywriter.
And that’s where I come in. I work with you to build an effective strategy around your offer, validating it, and ensuring that everything is in place to launch (to more than crickets).
Hopefully, this info will help some of you with your next launch. And, if you do want to talk about what I can do for your business, let's talk!
Nothing in on this page or any other site or communication by or from me is a promise of earnings or guarantee of results.
